  • Description -  PSB Biofertilizers (Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria) is an organic biofertilizer that converts the insoluble inorganic phosphorus in the soil into a form that plants can use. PSB bacteria is group of Bacillus polymyxa, Bacillus megaterium, Pseudomonas fluorescence bacteria & fungus Aspergillus which helps to solubilizing. phosphorus   It benefits all types of crops and is particularly beneficial for pulses. Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria is a natural biofertilizer that helps plants access phosphorus effectively, leading to increased crop yields . PSB biofertilizer increases micronutrient and water transport in crops. Increase in number of shoots and flowering in crops.& Increase in productivity up to 15-25%

  • Mode Of Action- When PSB culture is give to Rhizospheric zone of plant there is different process which helps to convert phosphorus insoluble to soluble form. 
    1.Production of acids - There is different organic acids like oxalic acid, Acetic acid, Gibberellic acid which is produced by that PSB bacteria so, soil pH is decreased & Phosphate convert into insoluble to soluble form.
    2. Production of enzymes- Some PSB bacteria secrete Phosphatases enzyme due to that enzyme compound of phosphorus get hydrolyzed & get phosphorus ion 
    3. Production Of siderophores - PSB bacteria produced different siderophores. due to that siderophores chelation of iron due that chelation process phosphorus convert into soluble form 
  • Application Method - 
    1. Seed Treatment-  Apply 100ml liquid to the seeds required for one acre at the time of sowing 
    2. Seedling treatment- Mix 100ml of liquid in 20 liter. of water & dip the seedling roots for 30 min before transplanting
    3. Soil Application - Mix 200Kg organic manure + 1litr. PSB Liquid
    4. Drenching - 1Litr. PSB Liquid + 200 Liter. Water
