  • Mode Of Action- Nematode (Paecilomyces lilacinus) on getting attached to the host forms a dense mycelium that gives rise to conidiophores. These bear phialides at the ends of which spores are formed in long chains. The fungus produces an appressorium (a swelling on the end of the germ tube) which marks the start of the invasion of insects. The appressorium produces a penetration peg that enters the external skin (cuticle) of the host. The fungus produces hyphae inside the insect body which proliferate and start feeding on the insect’s internal contents.
  • Application Method - 
    1. Field Application- Mix 1Kg Nematode powder with FYM or bio compost or organic manure for 1 acre
    2. Drenching - Mix 10gm Nematode powder In 1 liter of water
    3. Drip Irrigation- 1Kg. Nematode powder for 1 acre apply through the drip
