- Description - Tu Tom Lure is used to control Tomato Leaf Miner. For better results Tuta absoluta is a species of moth in family Gelechiidae known by the common names tomato leaf miner, tomato pinworm. It is well known as a serious pest of tomato crops. Tuta absoluta is a highly destructive insect pest to tomato plants and fruit and is also reported to infect other plants in the Solanaceae family (potato, eggplant, etc.).
